Dave “Elmo” Stephens grew up in Point Loma, CA and has spent his life around the water. Whether it be surfing, diving, or fishing, he finds comfort being on the water.

He got his start working on the sport boats as a teenager, and by the time he was sixteen he had begun his career in commercial fishing.

Elmo is a champion of sustainable harvesting practices and has a deep care for the ocean he spends most of his time on.
